    Get An Adviser is a trading name of IQ Financial Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). IQ Financial Services Ltd is the data controller for the personal information you give us through this site, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC180048. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share that information.

    Who we are

    IQ Financial Services Ltd (trading as Get An Adviser) is an introduction service. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not give advice, assess suitability or arrange contracts ourselves. We introduce you to The Finance Seer Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 1017243).

    IQ Financial Services Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17283569. Our registered office is 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB. We operate from Stockport, Greater Manchester.

    Information we collect

    We may collect the following types of personal information:

Mortgage enquiries go to a mortgage adviser at that firm; protection enquiries go to Lewis Maxwell, an adviser at that firm. The Finance Seer Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB481771, and acts as its own data controller for the advice it provides — once your details reach them, their privacy policy governs what happens next.

    We also share data with our technology providers, who act as data processors under our instructions.

    We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to any other party without asking you first. Any credit search, application to a lender or insurer, or contact with a provider is carried out by The Finance Seer Ltd — not by us.

    Data retention

    We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Enquiry records are retained for six years after your last contact with us, in line with the period that applies to financial services records generally.

    Who we are & how we’re regulated

    Get An Adviser is a trading name of IQ Financial Services Ltd, which is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not provide advice, recommend products or arrange contracts. We operate solely as an introduction service.

    Mortgage enquiries are introduced to The Finance Seer Ltd. The Finance Seer Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Firm Reference Number 1017243. We take no referral fee for mortgage introductions.

    Protection enquiries are introduced to Lewis Maxwell, an adviser at The Finance Seer Ltd. He is remunerated by commission or fee from the product provider, so we have a financial interest in protection enquiries and disclose it here.

    Our introduction is free and we take no referral fee. The Finance Seer Ltd charges a fee for mortgage advice. Your adviser will explain the amount and when it becomes payable, and agree it with you, before you decide whether to proceed — there is no charge for the initial conversation.
